1. Who We Are

Aana Network is a community platform operated by Aana Solutions ("we", "us"), based in Chennai, India. You can reach us at contact@aanasolutions.net.

2. What Aana Network Is — and Isn't

Aana Network is a text-only networking platform. We help entrepreneurs, founders, service providers, investors, and job seekers discover each other and start conversations. That is our only goal.

We are not:

  • An escrow service — we do not hold, transfer, or mediate payments between members.
  • A dispute-resolution service — we do not arbitrate project, payment, hiring, or contractual disagreements between members.
  • A background-check service — we do not verify the claims, credentials, credit-worthiness, or identity of members beyond email verification.
  • A marketplace — no listings, no transactions, no order management.

Any business you conduct with another member — hiring, paying, collaborating, signing contracts — is entirely between you and them. Do your own due diligence. We provide introductions, not guarantees.

If a member is abusive or violates our Community Guidelines, we can remove them. That is the extent of our involvement in any dispute.

3. Accepting These Terms

By signing up for or using Aana Network, you agree to these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

4. Who Can Use Aana Network

  • You must be at least 16 years old.
  • You must provide accurate information about yourself at signup.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password secure. Any activity on your account is your responsibility.
  • One account per person. No bot accounts, fake profiles, or impersonation.

5. Community Guidelines

Every message you post is evaluated against our Community Guidelines. An AI moderator applies these rules automatically, and a human admin may review edge cases. Violations can result in content being blocked, hidden, or your account being suspended.

6. Text-Only Platform

Aana Network accepts only plain-text messages. We do not host images, audio, video, or file attachments. If you need to share media, use a different channel you both trust (email, cloud storage, etc.) — we won't store or relay it.

7. What You Can't Do

  • Post illegal, harmful, hateful, threatening, or deceptive content.
  • Harvest member data, scrape the site, or automate interactions without written permission.
  • Use Aana Network to distribute malware, run scams, or phish members.
  • Reverse engineer, probe, or attempt to break the service.
  • Circumvent moderation, rate limits, or bans (including by creating new accounts).

8. Your Content

You keep ownership of the content you post. By posting, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide licence to store, display, distribute, and moderate your content within the service — and to train or evaluate our moderation models on community messages. We may remove any content at our discretion.

9. Direct Messages

Direct messages between members are private — we don't apply AI moderation to them by default. However, we do store DMs in our database so they persist across devices and sessions. DMs may be reviewed by admins if reported. Treat anything you put in a DM as potentially visible to us for abuse-prevention purposes.

10. Data Retention

To keep the community feed fast and focused, group messages older than 90 days are moved to a separate archive. They no longer appear in the live feed but are retained for up to one additional year for administrative review and abuse-investigation purposes. After that, they are permanently deleted. Direct messages are retained while both participants' accounts are active.

11. Donations

Donations to Aana Network are voluntary, non-refundable, and grant no additional features or governance rights. We don't use a payment gateway — you pay directly to the UPI ID, crypto address, or Gumroad link shown on the Donate page. Verify the receiving address before sending.

12. Service Availability

We do our best to keep Aana Network running, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may take the site offline for maintenance, updates, or outages. We may also modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time without prior notice.

13. Termination

You can delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, abuse the service, or create risk for other members. When we ban an account, we also remove the member's group posts and direct messages from the service.

14. Disclaimer

Aana Network is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that the service, its members, or their claims are reliable, accurate, or fit for any purpose. Connections, contracts, or business you form through the platform are your own responsibility.

15. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Aana Solutions will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Aana Network. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to ₹1,000 INR.

16. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. If the changes are material, we'll notify you in-app or by email. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept the new terms.

17. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India.
