These are the rules our AI moderator enforces. They're simple and exist to keep the community useful.
No slurs, threats of violence, or harassment of any individual or group.
No explicit sexual content, nudity, or NSFW imagery.
No crypto pump-and-dump, get-rich-quick schemes, or multi-level marketing recruitment.
Do not post the same or near-identical message more than once within 24 hours.
Maximum one promotional post per week per user. Repeated promotion of the same product/service will be flagged.
No political, religious, or otherwise unrelated debates or forwards.
Do not share phone numbers, addresses, or other personal data of people who haven't consented.
No impersonation of other members, businesses, or public figures.
Every post must start with one of: [NEED], [OFFER], [INTRO], [WIN], [ASK].
Community language is English so that everyone across the globe can participate.
Every post starts with a tag so the rest of the community can scan the feed in seconds. Here's how to pick the right one.
You want something tangible — a client, a hire, an intro, a service, a co-founder.
e.g. "Looking for a Flutter dev for a 2-week sprint. Budget: ₹1.5L."
You can do something for the community — a skill, a service, a free slot.
e.g. "Offering free 30-min CTO calls this week for early-stage founders."
Introduce yourself — who you are, what you're working on, what you can help with, what you need.
e.g. "Hi, I'm Priya from Bangalore, building a B2B SaaS for retail. Happy to help with Postgres / Stripe. Looking for a design co-founder."
Celebrate a real milestone — a launch, a deal, a raise, a first customer. Keep it to actual wins, not daily motivation posts.
e.g. "Just shipped v1 🚀 link in bio." · "Closed my first 6-figure client today, thanks to an intro from this group 🙏"
You want advice, opinions, or experience from the community — not a hire or a service.
e.g. "How are you handling GDPR as an Indian company selling to EU customers?" · "Anyone tried Cursor vs Claude Code for daily dev? What stuck?"
Rule of thumb: [NEED] is transactional (hire / buy / contract). [ASK] is conversational (what would you do?). If unsure, pick [ASK].
When you post, our AI moderator checks your message against the rules above within a few seconds. If it's clean, it's broadcast to the group. If it breaks a rule, we'll show you why — and you can revise and try again, or request a human review.
Aana Network is a text-only networking platform. We connect people. We don't hold money, mediate payment disputes, verify contracts, or settle disagreements between members. If a connection you made here leads to a deal, a project, a hire — those are yours to manage. Do your due diligence, write your own agreements, and resolve disputes directly with the other party.
We don't support image, audio, video, or file attachments. Posts and DMs are text only. If you need to share media, use a different channel (email, cloud storage) that both of you trust.
